Located in the fabulous Woolstore building on Thorndon Quay, Le Marche Francais was founded in 2008 with the aim of bringing its custumers a genuine French culinary experience.
The Bistro, run by Veronique and her team, offers great French cuisine, tasty and affordable. You will always be welcome in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy mouth-watering dish of the day, cheese platters, quiches and salads... and fabulous desserts! Veronique also caters for all your needs like private functions, weddings, cocktails.. Give her a ring or call in to talk about your project.
The Deli, next door, is run by Ludovic assisted by Caroline.
We pride ourselves in offering the best range of French cheeses in Wellington!
Sourced in France,most of our cheeses are farmhouse and made of raw milk, but we also have a good selection of pasteurised ones.
With about 50 different cheeses, you are pretty sure to find one to your liking!
We also offer deli products like vinegars, fine mustards, duck confit, duck rillettes, sardines, chocolates, confectionary... Home linen imported from France like table napkins, table runners, cushions, tea towels...
